You might be feeling there should be more to the pregnancy than just the obvious physical change. You might be feeling there should be more to this journey than just going to work until the end of the pregnancy, more than just carrying on like nothing has changed. You want to connect with other pregnant mamas to celebrate and honour this transformation that is happening on so many levels.
Let me tell you, there are other pregnant mamas with thoughts like yours out there.
Many are awakening to an old tradition of sitting in a circle of Women to encourage deep sharing of stories, fears, joy, tears, laughter. There is an importance to honour and celebrate the pregnancy journey and to feel safe with your emotions in the circle of sisterhood, who are all going through a similar journey. Taking time to connect with other pregnant mamas on a deeper level is as vital for your transformation pregnancy journey as going for your check up with your midwife.
But what can I do at home to celebrate and honour my pregnancy journey?
Claim a space on a shelf or window sill for your altar. Place a beautiful candle in the middle, one that will last you a long time. Add fresh flowers, crystals and any other items that have a specific connection to your pregnancy journey and baby(s).
Treat yourself to a nice journal, every morning after you get up, sit for few minutes in front of your altar in quietness to connect to your baby. Place your hands on your growing bump, close your eyes and connect to your baby in your heart. Tell her / him how much you are looking forward to meeting them. Have some time at the end of this connecting to see if you get any messages back from the baby. Write about your experience regularly in your journal. This will be a lovely memory at the end of the pregnancy to read back and maybe even gifting it to your baby.
Where to go from here
Let's hear from you
P.S. Pass it on
So much gratitude.Wishing you many blessings for a beautiful day.
